About The Position

Work with the theatre management team to help keep a 1st class appearance of our building. Diagnose and repair lighting, plumbing, flooring, concession equipment, and various seating issues. Applicants will need to communicate directly with location teams, as well as report to the district manager, director of facilities, facility manager and tech manager.

Requirements

  • General repairs and maintenance experience.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with the ability to determine who to call for proper repairs.
  • Ability to work on a ladder safely and comfortably.
  • Ability to work with basic hand tools and a drill.
  • Excellent leadership skills, self-motivation, and initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent sense of priority setting and time management.
  • Ability to follow and enforce all policies and procedures.
  • Ability to display a positive, helpful, and patient attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including all company policies.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours a week.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 of the following skills/trades: electrical, plumbing, flooring repair, low voltage lighting, drywall repair/painting, refrigeration repair, concession equipment repair.
  • Desire to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair lighting, plumbing, flooring, concession equipment, and various seating issues.
  • Communicate directly with location teams.
  • Report to the district manager, director of facilities, facility manager and tech manager.

  • Multi-task effectively and meet strict deadlines.
  • Set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Follow and enforce all policies and procedures.

  • Follow written and oral instructions, including all company policies.
  • Work up to 40 hours a week.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 of the listed skills/trades and have the desire to learn new skills.
  • Proficiently perform electrical repairs such as replacing ballasts, light switches, and LED drivers.
  • Diagnose and repair minor plumbing issues, including leaks, loose toilets, malfunctioning auto flush sensors, and installation of plumbing parts like faucets, flushers, and soap dispensers.
  • Repair/replace broken floor tiles, secure/replace loose VCT or LVT, replace carpet squares, and secure loose or missing carpet pieces.
  • Work on low voltage lighting, including replacing floor monograms or low voltage lighting transformers.
  • Perform light drywall repair and general painting.
  • Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment, including cleaning coils.
  • Troubleshoot and repair concession equipment such as Gold Medal poppers, Perfect Fryers, Turbo Chef ovens, and hot dog grills.
