As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the general care and maintenance of assigned areas and equipment. Your day-to-day interactions will vary and no two days are alike. Additional responsibilities for the maintenance team will include semi-skilled maintenance work requiring performance of tasks associated with the electrical, plumbing, building, and mechanical trades.

Requirements

General maintenance experience (required)
Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems
Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity
Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
Interpersonal skills to interact with other team members and clients in a pleasant and professional manner
Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
Ability to work in tight and/or elevated locations (lifts, rooftops, ladders)
Must be 18 years or older
Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Performing routine maintenance around the buildings, for example, window, door, or wall repair
Use your technical know-how and mechanical aptitude to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and replace or repair parts
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Painting interior and exterior walls
Ability to use the appropriate tools to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, or replace
Assist groundskeeping team as needed
Proactively perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are up to standards
Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing maintenance-related information and trends to drive efficiencies, streamline processes, and support business decisions
