About The Position

The Maintenance Technician position requires a minimum of two years of general maintenance experience, inventory management and organizational experience. Must have proven skills in the following areas: vendor and contractor management; organizational skills; inventory management; math; plumbing; pneumatics; carpentry; power tool safety and maintenance; minor electrical knowledge; basic working knowledge of HVAC; technical manual interpretation; communication. Equivalent education and experience may be substituted. The job description defines the general requirements and level of work. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during service periods.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate with service vendors when necessary.
  • Perform mechanical repairs including minor electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and machine repair.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Perform plumbing maintenance and minor carpentry work.
  • Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Identify faulty operations, defective materials, and report issues to leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance support.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, repairs, installations, and service contracts.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
