Maintenance Technician - Spring Hill, KS
About The Position
Sharpline Equity is a well-established multifamily operator experiencing exciting growth with over 1200 units under management. Sharpline is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a recent 100-unit acquisition to join our team. The community will undergo significant upgrades to deliver an excellent product and experience to all residents. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience, with at least 6 months in apartment maintenance preferred.
- Strong understanding of building systems (electrical, heating, plumbing, HVAC) and health & safety practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with computers and maintenance software.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds, bending, walking, kneeling, stretching, and working on ladders up to 30 feet.
- Proactive problem solver with critical-thinking skills.
- Must supply basic tools and maintain a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

- HVAC certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform work orders, unit turns, and make readies as assigned.
- Conduct facility inspections to determine problems and necessary maintenance, ensuring facilities are in good and safe condition at all times.
- Execute seasonal and annual preventive maintenance activities.
- Work as part of a team or independently, as needed.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations, and handle emergency situations or after-hours calls for repair and maintenance.
- Maintain and repair building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building systems.
- Prepare maintenance reports, maintain inventory of materials and equipment, and keep maintenance storage areas clean and orderly.
- Participate in project coordination, such as renovations, and conformance with maintenance policies and standards.
- Effectively communicate with residents, guests, visitors, staff, and managers about community concerns.
