Apartment Maintenance Technician – Entry Level (Will Train) Chowning Square | Nashville, TN. Great Opportunity to Start a Maintenance Career. We’re seeking a dependable and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to help keep our beautiful community running smoothly. No prior apartment maintenance experience required – we will train the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in apartment maintenance, HVAC maintenance, or building maintenance to start a hands-on career in the multifamily industry. You’ll work directly with our Maintenance Supervisor and receive hands-on training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general property maintenance.
Requirements

- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 25lbs
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a beautiful community
- Interest in maintenance, trades, or property management
Nice To Haves
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) – strongly preferred but not required
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) – strongly preferred but not required
- Previous maintenance, construction, landscaping, or handyman experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform daily property walks to help keep the community clean, safe, and inviting
- Assist with trash pick-up and grounds upkeep
- Help prepare vacant apartments for new residents
- Support maintenance tasks including minor repairs and preventative maintenance
- Learn and assist with basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs
- Help maintain shared amenities including courtyards, common areas, and pool area
- Assist with seasonal maintenance and routine inspections
