Requirements

Requires the ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and reading skills to count stock and check supply order sheets.
Learn general maintenance of bakery equipment.
Requires constant bending, stretching, and good eye/hand coordination.
Strong shoulders and back necessary.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Must frequently sit, walk, and stand; be able to use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls.
Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays.

Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Receiving stock from suppliers and putting the stock away in storage areas, rotating storage, and supply areas to maintain order.
General maintenance and janitorial duties through entire facility.
Deliver and pick up product from stores when needed.
Maintenance of facilities for an assigned facility and/or company retail stores; follow defined procedures and processes relating to repairs and/or replacements of equipment and fixtures.
Drive bakery van and make deliveries to stores or other locations as required.
Maintain water conditioner.
Clean drains in bakery.
Change bread slicer blades.
Varies according to production needs, occasionally may be required to work in production areas or in pan room.
Perform basic truck maintenance on vehicles.
