About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime while meeting strict food safety, sanitation, USDA/FDA, SQF, and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

Previous maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, or industrial environments.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems preferred.
Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to work overtime as needed, with or without notice.

Nice To Haves

Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems
Ammonia refrigeration experience

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment.
Diagnose equipment failures and respond quickly to minimize downtime.
Install, assemble, and repair machinery, piping, electrical components, and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
Repair or fabricate parts using welders, lathes, mills, drill presses, and other shop equipment.
Maintain motors, electrically driven systems, PLC controls, VFDs, and related equipment.
Support ammonia refrigeration systems and other plant utilities.
Test repairs and installations to verify safe, proper operation.
Accurately document maintenance activities and parts in the CMMS.
Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow all food safety, SQF, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
