About The Position

NOVO Health Services offers linen management solutions to the healthcare industry. NOVO Health keenly focuses on safety and infection control and provides its partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization by department to eliminate excess internal costs. NOVO's wide range of service programs offer a variety of options to provide a seamless, single source distribution system. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes. Novo Health Services is hiring a Third shift, full-time Maintenance Technician for our healthcare linen facility in Ravenna, OH. Maintenance team members perform repairs, adjustments, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on laundry and boiler room equipment. This role may also involve basic plumbing, carpentry, welding, or electrical work under the supervision of Senior Technicians.

Requirements

  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Prior experience with boiler maintenance.
  • Good communications skills with all levels.
  • High School, GED, or equivalent plus two years related experience.
  • Wear proper PPE and complete all required safety training.
  • Reliable attendance
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for trouble shooting automated industrial equipment.
  • Installation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Building maintenance and repair.
  • Preventative maintenance program.
  • Assisting in concerns: OSHA, reduction of utilities, garbage, etc.
  • Completing work order assignments
  • Use knowledge of industrial maintenance to repair, modify, or fabricate parts for equipment.
  • Ability to analyze blueprints, drawings, and schematics of automated industrial equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Must use proper PPE in compliance with company policies.
  • Must remain compliant with all safety related company policies and procedures.
