About The Position

Esplanade Lake Club in Fort Myers, Florida, is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician. The position supports maintenance of the property’s facilities, grounds, recreation areas, courts, and pool, as well as coordination with on-site vendors and contractors. The role is part of Troon, a professional club management company focused on golf, hospitality, and residential communities.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfort working outdoors year-round.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and operate maintenance equipment.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and daily walkthroughs.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, patching, and woodwork projects.
• Assist with minor plumbing, lighting, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and safety of indoor spaces, including the gym, lobby, and locker rooms.
• Assist with landscaping, including blowing and debris removal.
• Remove trash across the property and outdoor facilities.
• Maintain the pool deck, Bahama Bar, and common areas.
• Perform seasonal maintenance, including power washing, staining, touch-ups, and weather preparation.
• Conduct daily checks and sweeping of tennis, pickleball, and bocce courts.
• Operate a blower to remove leaves and debris from courts.
• Adjust nets, maintain windscreens, and perform minor court repairs.
• Assist with special court projects and resurfacing timelines.
• Conduct daily pool safety inspections.
• Meet on-site vendors, oversee scopes of work, and communicate needs.
• Assist with project preparation, punch lists, and follow-ups.
