The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues while adhering to established safety standards and maintenance procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems; electrical knowledge preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, schematics, and work instructions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while following safety and quality standards
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and work order systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training, certification, apprenticeship, or related coursework is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Respond to maintenance work orders, equipment downtime, and emergency repair needs
  • Perform equipment adjustments, component replacements, and general repairs
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to restore safe and reliable operation
  • Follow all lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation
  • Coordinate with operators and supervisors to minimize production disruptions
  • Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, and recurring failures
  • Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
