The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.). This role requires a self-starter with leadership and problem-solving skills, capable of performing routine and predictive maintenance, general cleaning, and maintaining a clean work area. The technician must be mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical, and mechanical issues, and then repair them. Strong customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate complex issues professionally. Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments and familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures are required. The role involves performing preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on floor equipment such as scrubbers, chariot vacuums, and extractors, responding positively to requests in a timely manner, and utilizing hand and power tools, scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding. Soldering and welding skills are a plus. The technician will also maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
