About The Position

BeeHive Homes of Broken Arrow is looking for a dependable, experienced, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 1 PM - 4 PM, with on-call responsibilities as needed on weekends.

Responsibilities

General building maintenance and repairs
Plumbing and minor electrical repairs
Drywall, painting, and patchwork
Preventative maintenance
Basic appliance and equipment repairs
Completing maintenance requests in a timely manner
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents
Responding to urgent maintenance needs when on-call
Conducting fire drills with each shift and properly documenting all completed fire drills
Conducting and documenting all other required emergency, disaster, and safety drills according to facility requirements
Maintaining accurate records of required drills and ensuring they are completed within required timeframes
Communicating with management regarding repairs, parts, outstanding projects, and safety concerns
Conducting routine facility walk-throughs to identify maintenance, safety, and repair needs
Coordinating with and monitoring third-party vendors and contractors while on-site for repairs, service calls, pest control, and other facility needs
Following up to ensure third-party repairs and services are completed appropriately
Providing management with a weekly supply and maintenance needs list, including needed parts, materials, and supplies
