About The Position

The Hampton Hall Club Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day clubhouse repairs and general maintenance for equipment, furniture, masonry, and building structures to maintain club property in optimal condition and appearance. This position reports directly to the Director of Facilities, Maintenance and Common Grounds.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one-year job related maintenance experience or engineering
Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to drive a golf cart

Nice To Haves

General Maintenance experience strongly preferred
Certification from Technical Maintenance Trade School preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and various property specific software applications

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot equipment using proper tools in a skilled craftsman-like manner.
Perform assignments as directed by the Engineering Supervisor and Director of Engineering.
Assume the duties of other mechanics when required, including light carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance, electrical, painting, pool and spa maintenance, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Has knowledge of Hampton Hall’s company policies.
Repair all malfunctioning mechanic devices.
Respond to building repairs regarding carpentry, electrical, plumbing, carpeting, and painting.
Respond to guest room calls and assists guests with room issues.
Train to become proficient in specific area (electrical, plumbing painting, carpentry, etc.) to become a specialist in a skill is a prerequisite for promotion.
Other duties as assigned.
