About The Position

Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This person will be responsible for drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring the aircraft conforms to design, and that vehicles are in safe operating condition. This candidate is expected to work closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams to deliver on their assigned responsibilities. This individual should possess strong analytical skills, be a self-starter, and work well independently. Requirements

  • Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
  • Can work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including working outside in outdoor temperatures and refrigerated environments
  • Can show a demonstrated record of good attendance and the ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts

  • Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
  • Experience in the aviation industry
  • Experience in business communication skills
  • Experience in Robotics and Manufacturing engineering

Responsibilities

  • Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
  • Show understanding of fleet performance metrics
  • Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
  • Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
  • Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
  • Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals
