About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and operational support activities throughout the facility. This position assists in maintaining plant equipment, ensuring safe operations, completing preventive maintenance tasks, and supporting production reliability while adhering to all company safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and associated equipment.
  • Assist with boiler and cooling tower testing and make adjustments as directed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and utilities.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs including but not limited to: Seal replacement, Packing replacement, Belt replacement, Coupling replacement, Gasket replacement.
  • Support preventive maintenance (PM) programs and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Assist in maintenance shutdowns and repair projects.
  • Support daily production and maintenance operations.
  • Sample and release products from storage tanks as required.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of bulk materials and finished products.
  • Maintain plant inventory records and complete required documentation.
  • Enter maintenance and operational information into FIORI or applicable maintenance systems.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment as required.
  • Assemble and install basic facility items such as shelving, racks, and furniture.
  • Maintain work areas in accordance with company safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work permit requirements.
  • Participate in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities and become authorized to perform basic equipment isolation procedures.
  • Assist with confined space and hot work preparation as assigned.
  • Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Support chemical unloading and transfer operations.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work safely in industrial environments.
  • Assist with calibration of plant instrumentation and testing equipment.
  • Complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time.
  • Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain training records and complete assigned training requirements.
