We are seeking a hands-on Service Technician to support our 144-unit Colts Crossing community in Georgetown, KY. This is a pipeline opportunity designed to support ongoing and future maintenance coverage needs, with a strong focus on occupied service requests, vacant unit turns, and make-ready work. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience (multifamily, residential, facilities, or related trades preferred)
  • Experience with occupied work orders, unit turns, and make-readies
  • Moderate plumbing knowledge and basic electrical troubleshooting skills
  • General maintenance skills including drywall, carpentry, and repairs
  • Foundational HVAC knowledge; certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability, strong work ethic, and responsiveness to urgent maintenance needs
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to commute within a reasonable distance of the property

  • HVAC certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Complete service requests in occupied apartment homes, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general repairs
  • Perform vacant unit turns and make-ready work to support leasing timelines
  • Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, and building systems
  • Handle general maintenance tasks such as drywall, carpentry, painting, and minor construction repairs
  • Partner with the Service Manager and Property Manager to prioritize high-volume work orders
  • Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards and safety requirements
  • Participate in on-call rotation (every other week) and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
  • Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents and team members
