Requirements

  • Familiarity with street maintenance.
  • Familiarity with drainage system maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience in street maintenance and drainage system maintenance.
  • Proficiency with basic tools and equipment used for repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • A proactive attitude toward learning and adapting.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of maintenance and repair work in support of the city's facilities, streets, and drainage infrastructure.
  • Work hands-on with tools and equipment (light and heavy equipment).
  • Conducting repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
  • Conduct daily inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to create efficient workflows and solve problems as they arise.
  • Communication with the public and staff will also be essential, ensuring that all interactions reflect our commitment to excellence and customer focus.
