About The Position

Matthews International is currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician position to join our Production Facility in the Richmond Indiana area. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance on equipment in our Stamping Facility. This is a Monday - Friday shift, starting at 5am - 1:30pm with overtime availability when needed. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
4+ years of previous maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.
Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Technical training and license preferred.

Responsibilities

Performing repairs using machine shop tools and practices.
Working with a small maintenance team and providing maintenance installation, as well as upgrades on production equipment.
Working on Stamping equipment including electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Responsible for welding and fabrication projects.
Additional responsibilities are assigned.
