Maintenance Technician
About The Position
This position is responsible for the maintenance service and repairs of the Beartooth Billings Clinic and satellite locations. This position will maintain the areas of grounds, including snow removal. It is also responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. This position will also undertake activities for cleaning up after projects, snow removal, carpentry, painting and plastering and performing manual repairs. This position will interact with all departments across the organization and will interact with different vendors and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
- Current driver’s license and the ability to be insured to operate motor vehicles.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be willing to work outside of normal working hours to perform maintenance work that may be required.
- Must be able to reason independently and work with minimal guidance.
- Must be able to interpret data and make sound judgments based on those interpretations.
- Must deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring tact, judgment, and poise.
- Must be able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and schedules.
- Must be able to maintain good working relationships with all co-workers and the general public and use good judgment in recognizing scope and authority.
