About The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Mira Vista Apartments property, which has 390 apartment units. We are looking for individuals with strong maintenance skills who are eager for productivity and advancement within our company. Training is available for applicants with prior experience in the trades or previous maintenance experience at other multifamily management companies. Compensation will be based on experience and anticipated performance. The hourly pay rate ranges from $22.00 to $25.00. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work schedule, including rotating weekend coverage. We encourage you to review our corporate website and the property's website. Requirements

• More than one (1) year of experience in building trade/apartment maintenance.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance maintenance and repair skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator.
• Current driver's license with non-rated auto insurance (to be verified).
• Ability to understand and follow written policies.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification or willingness to obtain this certification promptly (paid by employer).
• Bilingual (any language) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend to preventive and routine maintenance promptly and expertly.
• Complete service requests and emergency responses promptly.
• Respond to on-call emergency after-hours situations on a rotating schedule.
• Work under the direction of your Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
• Understand and follow written policies.
