About The Position

This role is for a Maintenance Technician focused on keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly. The technician will be responsible for addressing electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment and facility systems. Key tasks include millwright work, welding, rigging, electrical diagnostics, and PLC troubleshooting, contributing to reliable equipment and a proactive maintenance approach.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance department within a manufacturing environment.
  • Current and valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to perform physical activities required in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, using hands, bending, squatting, reaching, crawling, repetitive handwork, and climbing ladders or working at heights.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safe work practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, NEC).
  • Safely use hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and electrical testing equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and work with AC/DC electrical circuits.
  • Operate industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, and overhead cranes.
  • Work at heights using ladders, platforms, scaffolding, and fall-protection equipment.
  • Read and follow work orders, instructions, measurements, and quality requirements.
  • Handle and manage hazardous materials and waste according to regulations.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs. and perform other physical activities required in a manufacturing environment.
  • Support the team and respond to changing operational needs.
