Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Our production facility is looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to keep our operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for responding to work orders received which indicate a machine or process is not working properly. You will analyze the situation and make necessary repairs to the machine or process. If you are a safety-minded technician with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team! The starting wage is $26.19 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift premium, with higher rates available based on technical qualifications and experience. Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and standard mathematical skills.
- Read and understand micrometers, blue prints, or schematics.
- Knowledge of machine structure, hydraulics, basic electricity, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, as well as technical school training or a related degree, are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets blue prints or schematics.
- Repairs machines according to blue prints and may even assist in building certain machines.
- Performs machining and tooling operations related to the repair of machines.
- Assists in solving problems related to machine set up.
- Completes paperwork, records work performed, time worked, and parts needed to repair machines or process.
