POSITION SUMMARY Performs preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoots issues, and carries out repair tasks on our industrial production equipment and building infrastructure to maintain optimal working conditions. Hours: S-Th, 10:00 P.M. - 6:30 A.M.

Requirements

  • Broad understanding of industrial maintenance systems and repair.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems such as industrial pumps, motors (AC/DC), pneumatic/hydraulic components, gearboxes, bearings, chains/belts, etc.
  • Familiarity with electrical control components (e.g., breakers, relays, switches).
  • Basic understanding of plumbing systems.
  • Ability to operate forklifts/scissor lifts, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • PLC-controlled systems preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair production equipment and infrastructure systems.
  • Conduct analysis on machine failures to implement corrective actions.
  • Log maintenance activities, including repairs, modifications, and preventative measures.
  • Effectively communicate equipment status, repair progress, and maintenance needs to team members and other departments.
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance process efficiency.
  • Build partnerships with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Engage in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge.
  • Work individually or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Respond to clean-up of blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.
  • Ability to perform tasks on a wide variety, and more complex production equipment independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with peers for knowledge sharing and skill development opportunities, taking on more complex troubleshooting responsibilities.
  • Participate in rotating on-call duties when assigned.
