This role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining production equipment, conducting routine and emergency repairs, and performing preventive maintenance. The technician will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, read equipment manuals, and use various tools. Responsibilities also include lubricating moving parts, detecting operational issues, fabricating parts, maintaining a clean work area, communicating with the production team, preparing reports, and cross-training. The company is a growing logistics and oilfield services company focused on the production and distribution of high-quality frac sand and other bulk oil and gas well completion materials.

Requirements

Maintenance Technician experience preferred

Valid driver’s license, required.

Responsibilities

Install, service and maintain production equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on production equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
Lubricates all moving parts of equipment in the plant processing circuit. This includes greasing conveyor belt rollers and pulleys, oiling gear drives and bearings, changing oil in conveyor gear boxes and speed reducers, greasing pumps, screens and electrical motors in accordance with lubrication schedules and OEM specifications.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to management.
Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Communicate with the production team on maintenance related activities.
Prepare and submit maintenance reports.
Cross-train in other positions as needed.
Promote a positive company image during the course and scope of the performance of these duties.
