About The Position
The Maintenance Technician will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics. This is a Full Time/Hourly position within the Recycling Division. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements
- Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilities
- Follow all safety rules, regulations and policies of the company.
- Self-starter, dependable and work well with other team members.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance/Repair tasks at the plant.
- Preventative maintenance/repair tasks on mobile equipment.
- Preventive maintenance/repair tasks on furnaces, power supplies and plant operational equipment and processes.
- Repairs of unscheduled equipment issues causing downtime
- Completing work orders & PM paperwork
- Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position
- Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes
