About The Position
Pacific Retirement Services is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join its Community Housing team at Glenridge Terrace Apartments in Medford, Oregon. The role supports a welcoming environment for residents by maintaining buildings and providing high-quality service to applicants, residents, vendors, staff, and community and governmental agencies. Work includes interior and exterior repairs, apartment renovations, inspections, painting, carpet cleaning, and responding to work orders. The position also involves cost-effective inventory practices and securing bids and products from suppliers and contractors to ensure quality, price, and service.
Requirements
- Significant skills and knowledge in the maintenance and repair field.
- Skills in the operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and tools.
- Ability to read, speak, and write, and to follow oral and written directions.
- Strong organizational and human relations skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain buildings using cost-effective inventory practices while providing high-quality service to applicants, residents, vendors, staff, and community and governmental agencies.
- Repair interior and exterior building needs, including plumbing, windows, carpets, and painting.
- Respond to work order requests and perform apartment renovations.
- Secure bids and products from suppliers and contractors to obtain quality products and service at the lowest price.
- Perform apartment renovations, inspections, painting, carpet cleaning, and general maintenance.
