About The Position

Stampede Culinary Partners is looking for technicians for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. This role maintains and repairs machines by performing various duties. The technician will receive work orders or verbal instructions, and perform set-up, breakdown, repair, and troubleshooting for electrical and electronic food processing equipment, including packaging equipment, injectors, slicers, tumblers, and metal detectors. They will also maintain and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, replace worn or damaged parts, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance, documenting all work accurately. The role may involve assisting other maintenance workers and performing other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical knowledge is required.
  • Must have experience working with relays, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
  • Must also have the ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
  • At least one year of related experience in a maintenance department.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Regular attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years minimum experience with food processing equipment desired.

Responsibilities

  • Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.
  • Performs set-up, breakdown, repair, and troubleshooting for electrical and electronic food processing equipment including packaging equipment, injectors, slicers, tumblers, metal detectors and related.
  • Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
  • Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled and documents accurately and immediately upon completion.
  • Assists other maintenance workers, as needed.
  • Performs other duties, as needed.
