About The Position

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who is hands-on, reliable, and takes pride in keeping our property safe, functional, and guest-ready in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Requirements

Extensive standing without breaks, bending, reaching, and walking (length of shift).
Exposure to smoke, odors, chemicals, and other environmental conditions.
Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, occasionally lifting to 100 pounds.
Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of general maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the hotel.
Practice safety standards at all times, stay alert to hazardous conditions, and report or correct them immediately.
Ensure completion of all routine maintenance on guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and grounds.
Maintain and repair doors, furniture, hardware, and windows; hang artwork and headboards, etc.
Climb ladders, stoop, push or pull heavy furniture, and grasp hand tools as needed.
Check and add chemicals to the pool.
Keep the grounds clean and well maintained.
Perform other general janitorial and maintenance duties in and around the hotel.
Respond in a courteous manner to guest questions, complaints, and/or requests.
Assist other departments as necessary and assigned.
