Maintenance Technician- PACE Greenacres & Delray
About The Position
MorseLife PACE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs on PACE Center facility equipment. This role also performs preventive maintenance and quality assurance inspections under the direct supervision of the Executive Director of PACE and in collaboration with the MorseLife Health System Senior Director of Facilities Management. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC, laundry, dietary, and facility equipment, and maintains accurate maintenance logs.
- Performs maintenance and electrical repairs on chilled water systems, boilers, heaters, compressors, refrigeration, laundry, and dietary equipment.
- Completes routine and preventive maintenance tasks promptly.
- Understands and complies with all fire safety, OSHA, disaster preparedness, and facility safety procedures and regulations.
- Follow proper safety procedures while operating, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Maintains availability for on-call duties and emergency response during off-duty hours.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
