Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining and completing necessary repairs and preventative maintenance to a variety of food manufacturing equipment. This is a night shift position with hours from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Requirements

• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Read PLC's, VFD's and various electrical control systems throughout facility
• Work in a team environment with supervisors, managers, co-maintenance technicians, operation technicians, quality technicians; or individually with minimal supervision
• Complete written and/or CMMS entries accurately and completely as a historical record of work performed
• Assess, escalate and communicate equipment issues to others for additional support and resources
• Maintain work area, maintenance shop, stock room, tool storage, parts and supplies
• Multi-task and prioritize; strong time management skills
• Understand and adhere to all safety guidelines and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM's and/or inspections and maintain documentation for PM Program in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, adjust, test, or maintain various equipment with a sense of urgency and may need to assist co-maintenance or operation technicians in these activities
