About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently to join our team and provide hands-on maintenance support in a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of equipment and facility systems, with opportunities to use your experience in areas such as forklifts, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical maintenance. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, has a great attitude, and enjoys working as part of a team. Refrigeration experience is a plus, but we’re also interested in candidates with strong maintenance experience who are eager to learn and grow.

Requirements

At least 1 year of maintenance experience or a combination of hands-on experience and trade school in areas such as: Industrial or building maintenance, Material handling/forklift maintenance, HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical or electrical maintenance.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance with direction and minimal supervision.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Basic computer skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well with team members and leaders throughout the facility.
Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

Refrigeration experience is a plus, including ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2.
Forklift or material handling equipment experience is a plus.
Has a great attitude and enjoys being part of a team.
Is dependable and willing to jump in and provide support where needed.
Is comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial environment.
Takes pride in doing quality work and keeping equipment operating safely.
Is a strong hands-on learner who enjoys working with different types of equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the facility.
Help maintain facility structures, equipment, and exterior areas to support safe and efficient operations.
Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts.
At automated sites, maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, and push buttons.
Perform inspections and basic repairs on refrigeration systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.
Communicate equipment concerns, repairs, and other important maintenance information to leadership.
Support the team with additional maintenance projects and tasks as needed.
