This position is based out of our Palm Beach Gardens, FL location About you As a Maintenance Technician in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you’re a dependable, self-starter with experience in building and property maintenance. You quickly identify issues and recommend corrective measures to ensure quality and safety. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach to your work, whether it’s responding to an emergency request, working through light construction projects or conducting regular inspections. In this role, you will... Coordinate and complete system and building repairs and preventative maintenance requirements in a timely manner. Have an ability to work with minimal supervision. You will maintain and check daily operating logs for the following: air conditioning, fan units, graph charts, utility meters and general complaints. You will ensure that building systems and tenant service requests are handled efficiently at the most economical cost. You successfully coordinate contractor, tenant and management approvals for work orders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in building/property maintenance.
  • Your own vehicle with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Working knowledge of work order and preventative maintenance software systems
  • Experience with painting, drywall and light carpentry/construction projects
  • Flexibility in work schedule - available for off-hours emergency response if required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial experience (this is a plus!).
