The maintenance technician is responsible for completing general building maintenance repairs and performs unit make-ready duties on empty units. This role involves responding to work orders and projects that include electrical, plumbing, drywall replacement and/or repair, painting, lock replacement, tile repairs, blind and window treatment and/or replacement, and HVAC furnace and A/C repairs. The technician will also ensure vacant apartments are made ready according to The Monroe Group Standards, which includes scheduling vendors, flooring, painting, cleaning, appliance replacement, and general repairs. Additionally, the role requires working within budget limits, maintaining building inventory, scheduling and completing preventive maintenance, assisting in monitoring outside contractors, and being responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance call-outs.
