About The Position

Requirements

Must have good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
2+ years of experience in manufacturing/production maintenance and safety.
Knowledge of plastics and sheet metal equipment and machinery.
Knowledge of basic electrical connections, nodes and conduits.
Must have a good working knowledge of OSHA safety programs, requirements and inspections.
Must have ability to read a machine manual, electrical diagram and conduct troubleshooting as needed on each equipment.

Responsibilities

Plays key role in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and incorporating efficient methods of maintaining all equipment.
Schedules and prioritizes preventative maintenance and repair activities of the manufacturing/production facilities.
Analyzes machinery and equipment breakdowns and develops preventive measures.
Provides technical advice guidance and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
Manages maintenance supply inventories, maintaining accuracy and evaluating supply vendors.
Maintains electrical, lighting, heating and air conditioning with assigned personnel or outside contractors, as appropriate.
Maintains vehicles and forklifts, including all service records, utilizing assigned personnel or outside contractors, as required.
Maintains current maintenance history on all production and support equipment.
Coordinates storage and disposal of hazardous waste products.
Other duties as assigned.
