About The Position

DP World is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility and equipment maintenance within our operation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who can quickly diagnose problems, perform repairs, and respond to both scheduled and unexpected maintenance needs. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining facility systems and production equipment while helping minimize downtime and keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Experience performing facility and equipment maintenance within a large facility
Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment
Experience working with pneumatic systems and material handling equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs efficiently
Comfortable responding to both scheduled and unexpected maintenance needs
Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
Position requires a high school diploma.
Experience performing facility and equipment related maintenance in a large facility.
Experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and general maintenance on facility and plant equipment
Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment or facility repairs during production
Complete scheduled maintenance and repairs during equipment downtime
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Diagnose equipment problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments
Perform maintenance on production equipment and other facility machinery
Identify repair needs that may require outside contractors and make appropriate recommendations
Support overall facility maintenance needs and additional projects as assigned
Perform highly diversified duties to maintain facilities and the plant facility’s equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities and/or equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic; troubleshoot and repair of facilities and equipment.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments or recommend subcontractors to address such problems.
Other duties as assigned.
