About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures equipment uptime, supports safe and efficient production, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, switching between day and night shift every 28 days.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, climbing, gripping, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and working above or underneath equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move 25–50 lbs regularly, and occasionally more than 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Two-year degree in Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting/programming (Allen-Bradley or Mitsubishi preferred).
  • Experience with HVAC systems, industrial automation, or other advanced maintenance technologies is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, routine troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using problem-solving techniques and collaborate with machine operators and maintenance team members to identify root causes.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete equipment repairs, breakdown support, and maintenance projects.
  • Provide timely updates to supervisors when issues require escalation or may impact repair timelines or equipment startup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized parts room; monitor inventory levels and coordinate part ordering with engineers and maintenance leadership.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures; maintain consistent attendance and support overtime, holiday, and plant-shutdown schedules as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, and cross-functional departments; use Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, manufacturing power distribution, and industrial controls to troubleshoot equipment.
  • Complete work orders, logs, and administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, and related industrial equipment.
  • Perform additional maintenance and production-support duties as assigned.
