About The Position

Village Green is seeking a skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Savannah at Ankeny. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that takes pride in their work. As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist with the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community, including completing service requests in a timely and professional manner, troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues, appliance repair and replacement, painting, drywall repair, and general carpentry, preparing apartments for new residents (turns/make-eadies), maintaining building systems and common areas, assisting with preventative maintenance programs, and participating in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
• Strong customer service skills and general computer knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and painting.
• Available for on-call responsibilities
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in plumbing, contracting, builder certification, or related licenses is considered a plus.
