About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a preventive maintenance program for all related production equipment. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and performing standard repairs and maintenance on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulics, process pumps, boilers, chillers, and other assigned general maintenance duties. The technician will assess and resolve a wide range of on-site maintenance issues, perform preventative maintenance on company-owned tools and equipment, and read, interpret, and implement work orders. Additionally, the role requires acquiring necessary materials for repairs, documenting equipment requirements, and maintaining appropriate records of work performed. The company has a Zero Tolerance Drug Policy due to the industrial and machine operating nature of this job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers, talk, listen, and speak clearly.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Technical school or Certifications are highly preferred.
