The Maintenance Technician will partner with operations to support equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. This role involves performing scheduled maintenance tasks during production downtime to ensure optimal equipment performance. The technician will utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, diagnose equipment issues, determine root causes, and implement effective repairs or part replacements. The goal is to minimize equipment-related production downtime through proactive and responsive maintenance. The technician will respond promptly to production line calls and perform emergency repairs during operational hours. They will interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks accurately. Additionally, the role includes assisting with general facility maintenance, such as carpentry, plumbing, and infrastructure repairs. The technician will identify and report faulty operations, defective materials, and unusual situations to supervision, while adhering to all company policies, safety regulations, GMPs, and standard operating procedures. The use of appropriate hand and power tools, diagnostic meters, and material handling equipment is expected, along with maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
