The Maintenance Technician will partner with operations to support equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. This role involves performing scheduled maintenance tasks during production downtime to ensure optimal equipment performance, utilizing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair production equipment. The technician will diagnose equipment issues, determine root causes, and implement effective repairs or part replacements, while minimizing equipment-related production downtime through proactive and responsive maintenance. They will respond promptly to production line calls and perform emergency repairs during operational hours, interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, and assist with general facility maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and infrastructure repairs. The role also includes identifying and reporting faulty operations, defective materials, and unusual situations, adhering to all company policies, safety regulations, GMPs, and standard operating procedures, and using appropriate tools and equipment. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and performing additional duties as assigned are also key aspects of this position.
