About The Position
Washington County Mental Health Services seeks a Maintenance Technician to support agency properties. This critical support role helps us operate at our best in facilities ranging from licensed residential facilities to school settings and offices. The Maintenance Technician will complete scheduled maintenance work, respond to help desk tickets, and respond to emergency work as assigned to support the agency's delivery of services in our area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of self-directed, independent work experience in plumbing and heating
- Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience at all levels
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
- Minimum 2 years of roofing experience
- Excellent knowledge of drafting and engineering skills
- Ability to read and translate blueprints
- Minimum of one year past experience in flooring, painting, vinyl and wood sidings and trim
Nice To Haves
- Appliance and furnace repair knowledge and experience
Responsibilities

- Vinyl and wood sidings and trims and replacement/repair of broken windows and doors
- Maintenance of flooring (installation and maintenance of all types)
- Knowledge of sprinkler systems, heating systems, fire panel systems and internal alarm systems
- Assist as backup for Janitorial and Housekeeping
