About The Position
As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, upkeep and service requests in accordance with hotel standards. Will also assist in other areas of Engineering as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Must be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Requires effective communication skills.
- Safety requirements of PPE as needed for duty assigned and with use of required tools and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize daily work assignments from the Director of Engineering, coordinating projects with relevant departments such as Housekeeping and Front Office.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks in guest rooms and public areas, including painting, wallpaper installation, furniture refinishing, and resolving guest service requests.
- Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and materials to ensure safe, efficient operations and compliance with hotel safety standards (e.g., OSHA requirements).
- Conduct regular rounds to inspect the property for maintenance needs, cleanliness, safety hazards, and necessary touch-ups, addressing issues proactively.
- Respond to work orders and guest calls promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of service and operational standards.
- Accurately complete required paperwork, update work orders, and communicate follow-up needs before finishing shifts.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including service, safety, attendance, and key security protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with teammates and other departments, performing additional duties or special projects as assigned by management to support overall hotel operations.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, 4 Keys service standards, and safety and security procedures.
- Perform all additional duties as assigned by management.
