We are seeking a skilled and motivated 1st Shift Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a growing manufacturing environment and is committed to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. Leadership experience is preferred, but we are willing to develop the right candidate who demonstrates strong technical ability and initiative.

Requirements

• Proficiency in electrical systems, electronics, and schematic reading
• Working knowledge of PLC's and industrial automation systems
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, lathes, routers, saws, drills, punches, dies, or similar
• Experience using work order or CMMS software
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership or supervisor experience (or demonstrated leadership potential)
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance activities during 1st shift operations
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial equipment
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Diagnose and repair issues involving PLC's, automation systems, and electronic controls
• Perform maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ensure equipment uptime and support production efficiency
• Utilize work order and maintenance management software to track and complete tasks
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture
• Mentor and guide maintenance team members as needed
