About The Position

Seeking an energetic, responsible, and dependable maintenance technician to work full time (40 hours) split between an elderly housing facility in Nashua and two multi-family sites in Lowell, Massachusetts. Must be organized, self-motivated, and have proven proficiency with basic painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Under direction, will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Must have a valid driver's license and be available for on-call duties as needed.

Requirements

• high school diploma or equivalent
• willingness to perform any task that is required (i.e., janitorial, gardening, etc.)
• good work safety habits
• good communication skills
• ability to interact with a diverse range of people
• valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• familiarity with maintenance related software, including Yardi Mobile, a plus
• Spanish speaking is a plus!

Responsibilities

• clean vacant units, interior spaces, and grounds
• ensures that vacant units are turned over in a timely fashion
• grounds keeping, landscaping, and snow removal
• paint building interiors and associated prep-work
• miscellaneous carpentry repairs
• appliance repairs
• repair or replace plumbing fixtures
• change locks
• maintain supplies and records
• solicit bids for major repairs, purchases, or contracts
