About The Position

Eads Cooling Solutions is seeking a maintenance technician to join our team, where safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service are our top priorities. The Mfg. Maintenance Technician will oversee multiple locations and perform various tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will install and inspect machines and electrical equipment and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure industrial machines remain operational.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
5+ years of related mechanic experience working in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.
Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment.
In depth knowledge of system maintenance.
Able to follow instructions from supervisors.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management.
Good communication, basic computer, and reporting writing skills.
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree or technical school training preferred.

Responsibilities

Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
Maintains inventories of equipment, parts and supplies.
Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requisitions supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
Must have reliable transportation to maintain multiple company facilities.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
