About The Position

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a skilled industrial maintenance technician for their facility in Newark, OH. As a Multicraft Maintenance Technician, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment performing a wide range of industrial maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, diagnosing breakdowns, restoring equipment, and performing preventive and predictive maintenance. PCA invests in training to help employees grow their skills and earnings.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multi-craft skills
• Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shift as assigned
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Technical degree or certification (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, etc.)
• Experience in corrugated packaging, printing, converting, or manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnosing breakdowns and restoring equipment quickly and safely
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance
• Working closely with production and other maintenance team members
• Continuously expanding technical skills through paid training and advancement programs
