About The Position

To perform electrical and mechanical repairs or preventative maintenance in order to ensure production equipment performs as required. Installs, alters, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical molding and printing equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC system. Installs and trouble shoots mechanical or electrical support equipment. Performs preventative maintenance in molding, printing, and for support equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Six months to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education or experience.
