About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and equipment. The role works closely with other team members to keep the hotel in top condition for guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems.
• Assist with installing new equipment and systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
