About The Position

Peak Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its Devonshire and Lyndon Crossings properties in Louisville, Kentucky, which have more than 470 units combined. The technician completes work orders, preventive maintenance, and apartment-turn tasks; performs routine troubleshooting and repairs; maintains property equipment and inventory; assists with groundskeeping and seasonal work; and provides professional service to residents. Pool maintenance may apply. The role includes participating in an after-hours on-call rotation.

Requirements

Previous maintenance technician experience in an apartment community or similar setting.
Practical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with building systems and equipment.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize work and contribute as part of a team.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb ladders, bend, and work in confined or awkward spaces.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk across properties, use stairs, and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

HVAC certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and apartment-turn tasks.
Troubleshoot and perform routine repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, light painting, and drywall.
Maintain property-owned equipment and inventory, and order supplies as needed.
Help care for the grounds and handle seasonal work, including landscaping and snow removal.
Perform pool maintenance when applicable at the community.
Respond to after-hours service requests as part of the on-call rotation.
Provide residents with professional, friendly service.
