About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role, be self-motivated, and have a strong ability to learn. This is a contract position with a pay rate of $35.00–$35.01 / Hour (USD) and a Day Shift schedule from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S., as sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a similar industry.
  • Strong ability to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Hands-on experience in industrial automation, mechatronics, or equipment maintenance.
  • Experience operating, troubleshooting, and calibrating industrial sensors, including: Proximity sensors, Temperature sensors, Flow sensors
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills including pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting involving: AC/DC Circuits, Motors and Motor controllers, Relays and Contactors, Electrical Schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge in conveyor and conveyor systems.
  • Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions on equipment issues.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair equipment to ensure maximum performance and availability.
  • Maintain equipment records, including preventive maintenance schedules and repair logs.
  • Respond to maintenance calls and prioritize workload to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Continuously develop technical skills through training and on-the-job experience.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and management to ensure equipment is functioning efficiently and effectively.
